About lotus social research services

Karen established Lotus Social Research Services to use her experience (over 20 years!) to offer flexible research support for organisations involved in social research - from research design, online qualitative fieldwork and coding, through to analysis and report writing (and everything in between). Karen is also a trained cognitive interviewer and is passionate (albeit geeky) about using this approach to improve survey question design. 

Karen is based in Melbourne, Australia and works with clients on a daily rate or project basis, as best suits. Please get in touch to chat about your requirements.

The meaning of the Lotus: the lotus is used in many cultures to symbolize strength, resilience and beauty arising from adversity, given its ability to rise from murky waters - a bit like clear findings rising from murky data pools! Karen is also a certified yoga teacher, teaching regularly in person and online - the lotus in yoga has strong connections to the expansion of the mind!
