Cognitive testing

 Cognitive testing is a method of evaluating survey questions to ensure they are understood by respondents and helps to minimise response error, using the framework of respondent comprehension, information retrieval, subjective judgement and ability to respond. Services offered include a pre-testing review of questions (such as readability scoring, expert review, comparison with question bank databases), design of cognitive testing instruments, online conduct of cognitive interviews, and analysis and reporting of findings on each question or item tested.
